Our hokey pokey is made in a different way – it is effectively a candy/fudge kibble with a distinct hokey pokey flavour – and will not be hydroscopic and therefore does not go gooey as you describe. This is not the same as honeycomb hokey pokey ( i.e. like a crunchie bar) – this type of hokey pokey is a ‘boiled confection’ and almost 99% sugar – hence in the presence of moisture will go sticky gooey very quickly.

Regardless of the above –  it always pays to keep the product stored in dry well sealed bag/container.
